Just 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, Gordons Bay is the perfect base for exploring the Western Cape. Gordon’s Bay is perfectly positioned to enjoy some of the best wine estates that South Africa has to offer.
Our scenic coastal drives have been voted the best in the world and are particularly popular for whale watching during the months from July to November. Gordons Bay has many excellent restaurants and pubs, and plenty of shops along the beach road. For the more adventurous we offer, a wide variety of exciting outdoor adventures and sports.

After a direct 11-hour flight from Amsterdam, we usually arrive around 11pm and are instantly drawn to the fresh ocean breeze—either through the open balcony doors or up to the rooftop terrace under the stars and the jacuzzi enclosure, with a cup of tea or a glass of wine in hand.
The next morning begins with a gentle stroll to Tallas Tavern next door, where a comforting breakfast sets the tone for the days ahead. From that moment, the holiday truly begins—feeling relaxed, grateful, and ready to recharge body, mind, and soul with everything Gordon’s Bay and the surrounding region has to offer.
Evenings are spent enjoying one of the many charming restaurants within walking distance, always at our own pace. At Beach2Anchor, we live by the motto: “Everything can be done, but nothing needs to be done.”
